On February 5th, cleaning and partial restoration work began on the mural decorations of Palazzo Rosso. Thanks to funding from the 2023 Culture and Regeneration Grant promoted by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio in Bologna, the municipality has initiated interventions to restore the entrance hall and stairway walls to their original splendor, up to the building’s first floor. The work is expected to last approximately two months. During this period, access to Palazzo Rosso will still be possible, but visitors are strongly advised to use the elevator to access or visit the first floor. Starting next week, scaffolding will be installed to allow the restorer to work at height.
